Pine Cliffs Golf Course
The Pine Cliffs golf course is part of the Sheraton Pine Cliffs Resort, which is located near Olhos D’Agua a few kilometres east from Albufeira. It is laid out on a cliff top above the Falésia beach, with wonderful views out to sea.
The course is more of a holiday course, being only 9-holes. It is not a long course with the par 4s being short and a very short par-5. It is 2227 metres long with a par of 33.
The course itself is very well maintained with good greens. It is also very beautiful. It is gently undulating and surrounded by pine-trees with much of the course having a parkland feel to it. The 5th and 6th holes run along the cliff above the beach, with the 6th being the famous ‘Devil’s Parlour’, a long par-3 over a ravine down to the Falésia beach. If you ever see any photographs of this golf course, then this is sure to be one of them (see top left top to prove my point).
When you’ve finished your round, you can enjoy a drink at the Corda Café, where the terrace overlooks the gardens and golf course.
Pine Cliffs Golf Course Academy
If you want to improve your game whilst enjoying your Algarve holiday, you can always book some lessons with Pro at the Pine Cliffs Golf Academy. They’ve just built a new Golf Academy building now, which will be kitted out with the latest video analysis equipment. There is also the practice ground outside which has nine greens at varying distances you can aim at

Golf equipment (clubs, trolleys, shoes etc.) can be hired at the Pro shop.
Directions to Pine Cliffs Golf Course
Coming from Faro in the EN 125, turn left to Açoteias. After the turn to Vilamoura, you will find the course on your left.
