Old Village Apartments in VilamouraThe Old Village is a beautifully maintained Algarve styled village. Accommodation is mainly in privately owned apartments, so standards can vary. The Old Village has 3 pools, a number of bars a restaurants and a supermarket, but otherwise not much else entertainment on the complex, especially for kids.
It is one of the most popular complexes in Vilamoura and can get crowded during the summer months, but is generally a quite and peaceful place to stay. It is located a couple miles from the Marina on top of hill surrounded by the Pinhal golf course. Thus a car is recommended as the marina is a good 15-minute walk away and the beach ½ hour, although a taxi is an option (3-4 euros each way).
During the summer months, the road train stops at the Old Village to take passengers to the Marina and beach.

Cegonha Country Club Apartments in VilamouraCegonha Country Club is located 2km from the marina at Vilamoura, surrounded by the Vilamoura Golf courses, being some of the best in the Algarve.
Accommodation is in studios, 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, which are spacious and clean. These are all comfortably furnished and fully-equipped, with air-con and satellite TV.
Facilities at Cegonha include a large swimming pool, children's pool, and poolside bar. There are two tennis courts, a shop and 24 hour reception, which is available to book excursions, taxis or information. This complex is a little out of the way, and a car is advisable, but it is very peaceful and a great place to relax. Olympus Sun Club Apartments in VilamouraGreat location across the street from the Marina, the Olympus Sun Club is made up of apartments in a multi-storey property. On the ground floor is an arcade with shops and restaurants.
There is a pool and children’s pool for residents and some tennis courts. If you want the beach, then the Marina beach is only a few hundred metres away. Golfers can take advantage of the shuttle bus provided to take them to the golf courses.
The apartments seem somewhat dated, although the place is due for a refurbishment very soon. They have however all the facilities you’ll need including air-conditioning, satellite TV and equipped kitchen.
As it is next to a busy road and above the arcade, poolside rooms are the best option for a bit of peace and quiet. Guests generally stay here for convenience rather than luxury.

Parque Mourabel Club Apartments in VilamouraThis resort is really three sets of apartments, Parque Mourabel, Pe Do Lago and Oasis Village, all very close to each other. Guests can use the facilities of each property. The gardens are landscaped, and there are three outdoor pools for guests to use, in addition to a children’s pool. There are also tennis courts with equipment for hire and evening entertainment.
The complex is a little way out of town, so a car might be advisable, else it’s a 20 minute walk. There is a courtesy bus into Vilamoura or a taxi at 6-9 Euros each way.
