It is loud, bright and full of life. There are many bars, restaurants to cater for all budgets and tastes. It caters for a younger party going crowd, and at night is lit up with garish neon signs. You’ll either love it or hate it, but you’ll never forget it!

Apartments in Albufeira - The Strip/ Areias de São João/ OuraThe Strip is a 1.5 km road which runs down from Montechoro to Oura, which is where the main entertainment is. It has spread out over the years and encompasses the Areias de São João. This is a main area for accommodation. If the Strip is not for you, then there are quieter and more sophisticated areas to choose.

Great beach with long stretches of golden sand, but some steep steps to get down to it. There are some good beachfront restaurants, serving freshly caught seafood. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Strip.
